Please Note:
Priority for Funeral Masses is given to current and former parishioners, alumni of Holy Name School, and families with a strong connection to our parish community.
Scheduling:
Funeral Masses are typically celebrated Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday mornings.
We are unable to schedule Funeral Masses on Sundays, Holy Days of Obligation, or during the Sacred Triduum (Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday).
Vigil Services and Rosaries:
These may be arranged at a funeral home or at the church (schedule permitting).
Music:
Families are invited to work with our parish musicians to select sacred music appropriate for the Funeral Mass.
Cremation:
The Catholic Church permits cremation. Cremated remains must be treated with reverence and interred in a sacred place.
Memorial Gifts:
Families may designate Holy Name of Jesus Church and School to receive memorial donations in honor of the deceased.
